We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Programme Officer to support the successful delivery of our work.
The main duties of the Programme Officer will be to:
Support the smooth delivery of our programmes
Organise programme-related events, such as workshops and review meetings
Deliver workshops to our student participants as required (full training will be provided)
Manage the day-to-day running of online application support system, OSCAR, provide technical support to users and make recommendations for improvement and strategic changes as appropriate
Act as the first point of contact for the organisation
Support the collection of information as part of programme reporting requirements
Support in the creation of new programme resources
Contribute to programme strategy and development
Support the Programme Managers with external communications including the Causeway website, Twitter account and newsletters
Provide administrative support to other members of the organisation as required
Liaise effectively and efficiently with other departments in the organisation
Lead by example, promoting the organisation’s values and expected behaviour
Undertake any other duties required by the CEO or the needs of the organisation
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Experience of programme work in mentoring, education or widening participation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical skills; able to work to tight deadlines
Proficient with Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
High degree of initiative and ability to see work through to conclusion
In possession of, or able to secure, an enhanced DBS check
Commitment to the aims and values of the organisation
Experience of programme delivery to student participants
